Using the broad climatic gradient of the FunDivEUROPE<\/a> exploratories, we investigate the relationships between below- and aboveground diversity, ecosystem functioning, and climatic variables with multivariate analyses and structural equation modelling (SEM). With experimental approaches using existing tree diversity experiments combined with climate change manipulations in the field (FORBIO<\/a> and ORPHEE<\/a>, part of the global network of tree diversity experiments TreeDivNet<\/a>) and the CNRS European Ecotron<\/a>, we evaluate how soil biodiversity is affected by climate change and how soil biodiversity affects ecosystem resistance and resilience to severe drought.<\/p>\n <\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
