Find out more about the team below, including our Inuit and Sami research coordinatori locally, the students who participated as TUKTU research assistants , the school teachers and headmasters whio made it happen, and the funders and in particular IPEV who supported the 2 projects for its entire duration.

The research team included 9 researchers, male and female, young and less young: most of the students were Master’s students. The role of the Local Sami and Inuit researchers was detrimental in the success of the projects. For TUKTU, between 2013 and 2018, a field visit of approximately six weeks was made to Baker Lake at least once a year. For BOAZU the research project itself started in 2017 with 2 to 3 visits to Jokkmokk each year, and a visit to Arasluokta in the Sarek area.
Each student participating in the project wrote a Master’s thesis and made a Powerpoint presentation about their research (in French, with a summary in English). The thesis summaries are found in the profiles below: if you wish to read a Master’s thesis, please fill in the contact form. *
